Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Democratic Party is calling on Governor Jim Douglas to act immediately and reach a compromise with the Vermont State Employees Association (VSEA) over the latest round of proposed cuts.

“State employees are willing to sacrifice out of their own paychecks rather than seeing a coworker laid off,” said Representative John Moran (D-Wardsboro.)
